Mark Cavendish bollocks Kenny Van Hummel while sprinting

One of stage three’s highlights was seeing Mark Cavendish bollock Kenny Van Hummel during and immediately after the intermediate sprint.

Van Hummel had done a bit of a manoeuvre and Cavendish felt it necessary to tell him how he felt about this. For maximum emasculation, he did this while basically just drifting past Van Hummel, who was at the time pedalling with all his might. Sprint points secured, Cavendish then turned round to continue haranguing his target.

It was a masterful exhibition of tetchiness while effortlessly outsprinting someone that is unlikely to be beaten all Tour.

    1. That somehow brings it home that the Tour was always about suffering.
